Location

I see people in private practice at The Minster Centre which is at 20 Lonsdale Road, Queen's Park, London NW6 6RD.

Lonsdale Road is just off Salusbury Road and a few minutes walk to Queen's Park tube station on the Bakerloo Line, and Brondesbury Park Station on the North London Overground Line.

Time and cost

All sessions last for 50 minutes and are once a week at the same time. It is also possible to meet twice a week if we feel that would be helpful.

I charge £50 per session, including the initial session, but will not charge for this meeting if we agree not to work together.

I also have some concessionary places available so please feel free to ask.

Deciding how to proceed

If we agree after the initial meeting that counselling is the most appropriate therapy, we would discuss the length of the contract in advance; usually between 6 and 12 sessions. We would then agree any possible breaks over that period and any unplanned missed sessions would be paid for in full.

If long term work feels more suitable then the contract is called 'open-ended'. We would meet every week with breaks planned to coincide with the school holiday timetable. I charge £10 for sessions cancelled in advance beyond these agreed breaks, and charge for the full session if cancelled on the day.
